About Us
Butler Tech has been part of the community for more than 40 years. Today, the school connects students to career technical education in more ways than ever before.
High school students can receive career training in dozens of programs, along with completing their academic courses, at one of Butler Tech’s high school campuses. Dozens more programs are taught by Butler Tech teachers in its 10 associate school districts. Many students receive college credit while working toward industry-recognized credentials.
Butler Tech Adult Education offers students the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials in healthcare, public safety, business and industry, and commercial truck driving. Student satisfaction, technical skill attainment and job placement all averaged above 90 percent among graduates in 2015. Butler Tech can create customized training programs for local businesses interested in helping their incumbent workers gain new skills.
Butler Tech Adult Basic Literary Education (ABLE) connects students to free learning opportunities, including GED test preparation, skills assessment training, English as a Second Language (ESOL), and others. Qualifying students may be eligible for a one-time voucher to cover the cost of the computer-based GED test.Images
