Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce
Hamilton's Business Districts
Helping Business Grow and Assisting in Attraction of New Business
The City of Hamilton, Ohio has six designated business districts, each with its own flavor and character.

These business districts are: Downtown – Special Improvement District (SID), German Village, Main Street, Lindenwald, South East and the Rt. 4 Corridor. Each of these districts, with the exception of the Rt. 4 Corridor, has its own officers or governing council who meet on a monthly basis in their respective districts.

To help spur economic development in these business districts, the City of Hamilton, Ohio working collaboratively with the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, hired a Business District Manager (also referred to as the ReDiscover Hamilton Manager) who is an employee of the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, while performing his duties under the guidance of the ReDiscover Hamilton Advisory Board.

The Business District Manager is responsible for promoting and representing the interests of the business districts. He is also responsible for the development, implementation, and documentation of the revitalization activities taking place within the business districts. The Business District Manager is the principal point of contact for each of the districts, is responsible for coordinating all project activities within the business districts, and represents the community locally, regionally and nationally as appropriate.
